A Celebration of Umbrellas!

RMIT 2nd year Fashion Design students worked with Clifton Umbrellas to make their own 'Pleasure Domes' to celebrate the family owned company's 75th Anniversary.

Robert Sharpe, Associate Director, Clifton Umbrellas said: "In recognition of our 75 years in business, we were delighted to be part of this wonderful project with the umbrellas and applaud Sue, Liam and the wonderful students that have used their fantastic imaginations to transform shafts, ribs and handles into spectacular pleasure domes based on their life's memories."

This was a course organised by Sue Thomas and Liam Revell.

"It has been a total pleasure working on such an exciting project both in terms of concept 'the pleasure dome' and watching the students realise it in 3D" said Sue Thomas. "It couldn't have happened without the support and encouragement of Clifton Umbrellas."
