The approach to learning and teaching in the College of Science, Engineering and Health is characterised by a commitment to enriching the student experience, fostering the internationalisation of curriculum, enhancing work-integrated and work-based learning, and engaging with marginalised and disadvantaged urban populations. Within the College of Science, Engineering and Health, the Academic Development Group (ADG) is responsible for the implementation of the University's vision for learning and teaching.
Through the provision of support services to Schools, the ADG leads the continuous improvement in the scholarship of learning and teaching, professional development, the design and delivery of programs and courses and by assisting staff with educational technologies and learning design. In addition, the ADG manages a range of strategic projects aimed at researching, contextualising and evaluating learning and teaching initiatives and activities.
