Mechanical, Manufacturing and Automotive common program structure
The three single degree programs offered in Mechanical, Manufacturing and Automotive Engineering have the first two years in common. The Aerospace degree program has a high level of commonality with other programs for the first 1.5 years. Students successfully completing years one and two are therefore equipped to re-apply in their third year and specialise in any one of the three degree programs, given they meet the GPA requirements.
All of the programs provide core engineering material and opportunities for elective courses from engineering and other disciplines. All of the programs include a major project that is designed to provide experience in applying engineering skills to a chosen area of specialisation.
