Postgraduate students can expect a School which is internationally renowned for its industry focused research, mainly undertaken through collaborative projects with local and international organisations.
All programs offered at the School are designed to facilitate easy entry and exit from one program to another.
You can choose between apprenticeship or certificate style training, advanced diploma, associate degree, bachelor and master degrees and doctorate programs. Five double degree programs provide a combination of engineering disciplines or engineering with business or computer science.
Credit collected in the apprenticeship or diploma courses, enables you to move into undergraduate programs.
As an RMIT graduate engineer you are likely to be employed upon completion of your studies by design and manufacturing organisations both locally and overseas. These may include the automotive industry sector, process industry (e.g. petrochemical, materials handling), energy supply companies (including green energy), defence forces, science and technology organisations, passenger airlines, general aviation, and research organisations.
