Construction Innovation

Research programs within the group span a broad spectrum of topics including innovative structural design, sustainable construction materials and products, geotechnical and foundation design, management of infrastructure assets and so on. The research activities have a strong focus on industrial relevance and practical application. The research outcomes are directed towards delivering innovatively deigned and constructed infrastructure assets, efficiently managed and operated to optimise their economic and social impact while minimising environmental impact. The research programs of the group are well aligned with the undergraduate programs of Civil and Infrastructure Engineering and Environmental Engineering.
