Recommended Panel of Examiners

The timeline for formally nominating the recommended examiners of your thesis is two months prior to submission of the thesis.

This is a responsibility of your supervisor (Students are not permitted to know the identity of their examiners).

The College Higher Degrees by Research Sub Committee requires a one page brief CV including academic qualifications, awarding institutions and between five to ten recent publications to be attached to the Recommended Panel of Examiners form.

In cases where a proposed examiner does not have a research degree qualification that is equivalent to the research degree the candidate is enrolled in, Equivalence of Examiners form and a full curriculum vitae should be attached to the Recommended examiners for higher degree by research candidate form.
