The College of Science, Engineering and Health (SEH) will host the next Higher Degrees by Research Student Conference – Vision To Reality, at RMIT University on Friday 21 October, 2011.
The main aims of this conference are to provide HDR candidates an opportunity to present their research work to their supervisors, staff and invited guests from affiliated organizations, receive critical feedback and most importantly to interact and network within a conference environment. It is also a great opportunity for candidates to gain experience and practice at presenting to a diverse audience in a formal setting.
This year’s conference will be held at the new lecture theatre in Building 224, Bundoora West campus. We are expecting our usual high numbers of students to present their research work and a large audience of interested staff, students and invited guests. It promises to be an exciting and rewarding day. It is always wonderful to listen to the varied presentations, reflect on the diversity of our students and their topics and celebrate the progress they have made with their research.
The day will end on a high with the closing celebration and the awarding of prizes for the best presentations and posters.
