As a service provider of the Victorian Government's Small Technologies Industry Uptake Program, RMIT University has a great diversity of small technologies research capabilities that can be applied across science, engineering, health, textiles, and computing areas.
We focus on delivering applied research in partnership with leading organisations and individuals who are capable of using research outcomes to create products and services that are leading edge.
We give particular emphasis to:
- The application of excellent design practice
- Developing innovations in health
- Expanding enabling technologies that have a broad range of application, such as nanotechnology.
