A response to the over-saturated fashion marketplace, bursting with more of the same, knock-offs and retro tat. Consumers are drowning in thousands of versions of the same thing and getting sick of it. This studio is an attempt to redress that; it’s about creating something truly new to offer.
The focus is on innovation in cutting and construction in the context of women’s day wear. Outcomes include a new approach to technical design, new perspectives on the fashion marketplace, and the ability to design and make garments of a standard suitable for immediate retail sale.
