RMIT Volunteer Expo 2011
The RMIT Volunteer Expo 2011 celebrates the concept of ‘volunteering’.
The Expo aims to increase awareness about volunteer work, and its role in building students’ employability. It will also promote social and ethical values that are synonymous with volunteering, including a sense of community.
Why should you participate?
- Source volunteers directly from our student body.
- Increase your community profile—promote your organisation’s goals and future direction through our campus-wide marketing campaign.
- It is free to participate.

Please note: The expo will be held during lunchtime to maximise student attendance. Lunch will not be provided for exhibitors. For your convenience, there is a café on the premises.
Event details
Your booking includes:
- one table
- two chairs
- red tablecloth
- online campus-wide promotion of your organisation.
Parking
We recommend parking in the following areas:
- behind the Draculas theatre-restaurant in Cardigan Street
- Melbourne Central on La Trobe Street
- Franklin Street.
Note: there is a no-parking zone on Swanston Street. This includes drop-offs.
Courier
Deliveries can be sent to Cafeteria Hall, Building 8 on the day of the fair from 9.30 am. Exhibitors must be present to collect all courier deliveries.
Please note: courier deliveries of materials are not to be sent to RMIT prior tor the day of the expo.
Materials
If you have printed materials to hand out, please ensure that you bring an adequate supply. No photocopying facilities are available on the day.
